Mikkel's story began in Copenhagen and has taken him to New York via Melbourne and now all across the globe. His work has always been about storytelling and light; setting up a scene like a film set and searching for that perfect image, again and again. It’s that quest for flawless light and a real moment that makes an image feel believable while also adding a touch of sophistication. Finding inspiration everywhere: people, cars, airplanes, hot air balloons, boats, coffee, dreaming, landscapes, architecture, and living. It’s a lot of early mornings, a lot of late nights, and a lot of very big lights.
