Set Design and Prop Styling
Jasmine Christie
There is an instinctive spontaneity to set and prop stylist Jasmine Christie’s ideation process. In answering a brief, she seamlessly weaves the intentional with the imaginative, trusting in a deep creative intuition to form order and novelty from a diverse range of reference pools. Growing up immersed in community theatre, at the intersection of experimentation and production, Jasmine found a formative environment for lifelong-curiosity and inspiration. Informed by an early passion for collecting mixed media across print, film and music, later channelled into a finely honed talent for collage and curation. Jasmine’s influences are often found at the interplay of polarities: the convergence of old and new, of abstraction and narrative, the mundane and the transcendent. Formally trained in set and production design motivated by a commitment to beauty and aesthetic integrity - Jasmine’s career has seen her move fluidly between industries. She applies a singular crafted ability to synthesise both left and right sides of the brain to conceptualise and execute original work across across film & tv, theatre, events, interiors, photography and commercial clients.
